Throw logs into the chipper and metal junk into the grinder side. Output is the two counters, not the item you threw in. Blacksmith Level 3 can return extra scrap.

You build a camp, keep the campfire burning, and try to reach 99 nights. The official listing says you build that camp with friends. A run can continue past night 99. Rescuing four missing children is a major objective, and a Self-Preservation badge is described for reaching day 99 without rescuing any of them.
