Reading order
Read First day before anything else. Crafting bench recipes and Beds, food, and the day counter are the two loops that decide whether night 99 is a long grind. Rescue and raid guides are the next trips out of camp. Class and taming guides are for when you already have Diamonds or a flute.
Which 99 Nights in the Forest π¦ guides are published?
First day: fire, map, and the Pelt Trader
Upgrade the campfire with the first logs, craft a Map, and meet the Pelt Trader on day 2 before you chase the missing children.
Crafting bench recipes
Bench levels 1 through 5, the Wood and Scrap each recipe asks for, and which crafts are worth making before the first cultist raid.
Rescue the four missing children
Use the missing-children board, clear the animal guards for a key, and carry each child back to the campfire for a faster day counter.
Hold the camp against cultist raids
Cultists arrive around day 4. Trap the gap in a tree ring, kill crossbows first, and spend their gems on the bench.
Deer, Owl, Ram, and the animals that drop pelts
The Deer and the Owl are not kills. Use the campfire and a flashlight, and save your weapons for wolves, bears, and cultists.
Unlock the Workshop anvil
Clear the Workshop cultists, rebuild the anvil from three parts, then craft bandages, a hammer, and the chainsaw.
Which class to buy with your first Diamonds
Diamond prices and Level 1 kits, plus a first-purchase order that spends the early Diamonds on sack space, wood, or a revolver.
Beds, food, and pushing the day counter
Beds add +1 day each, children add a further multiplier, and the Crock Pot plus biofuel processor are what make a long run stable.
Tame animals with the right flute and food
Old, Good, and Strong flutes, and the food counts that were actually listed for bunnies, wolves, frogs, alpha wolves, and the mammoth.
